HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK.

The guide will pick you up at around 7:00 am to start of the journey down the rift valley escarpments to Naivasha, with lunch en-route. On arrival, you shall be taken to the Hell’s gate national park for a nature walk as you enjoy the beautiful landscape and serene environment of the park. Named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries, the Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. Hell’s Gate is an ideal venue for a nature walk where, in addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing. The park inhabits the African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle and baboons in common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope and Chandler’s mountain reedbuck. Hell’s gate national park is also rich in prolific birdlife – there are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzard and swifts. After the adventurous walk, you will be driven back to Nairobi and the driver will drop you at your hotel and end your amazing trip.
