KENYA CAMPING SAFARI

Great Kenya Camping Safari that is upgraded to a better budget safari accommodation for comfort while on this safari tour. Kenya Safari package starts in Nairobi to cover the famous Masai mara game reserve for wild animal viewing and the great migration of wildebeest and Zebras from July to October. Lake Nakuru National Park for bird watching at the lake and to see the white and Black Rhino at the Nakuru Sanctuary. Samburu National Reserve for the Samburu Special Five; Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy Zebra, and Somali Ostrich. DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.

Pick up from the Airport or Nairobi confirm hotel and be introduced to the Kenya Safari guide who will be taking care of the upgraded Kenya Camping Safari. Depart Nairobi with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will witness the Escarpment wall and Take Great Pictures. Descend the escarpment wall via Narok town to arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for check-in, hot lunch, and a little siesta. Afternoon enjoys a great game drive in Masai mara game reserve till you witness the sunset, drive back to the campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.

Our day starts with an African breakfast at the campsite, prepares for the day, and before 0800 hrs leave the Campsite for a full day game viewing. Masai Mara Game Reserve is savanna grassland with shrubs making it easy for game drives as animals can be spotted at a distance. Have several stopovers for great up-close encounters with wild animals that call Masai mara game reserve a home. Arrive at Mara River at noon, see the hippos and the crocodiles on the Riverbank and try your luck for the crossing of wildebeest. Break for the Picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue the game drive till 1700 hrs, Exit the game reserve and drive to the campsite.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – LAKE NAKURU

Early morning game drive in Masai mara game reserve to track the wild cats as they return from their nocturnal hunts. You may spot them as they prepare to hunt the prey while grazing in open savanna grassland, witness the sunrise, and drive back to the camp for breakfast. Check out, leave Masai mara game reserve for Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover for Lunch and Lake Naivasha. Arrive at CityMax Hotel in the early evening for check-in, evening at leisure, Dinner, and overnight.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – SAMBURU.

Early African breakfast at CityMax Hotel, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a thrilling 4 hours game drive. Visit the Rhino Sanctuary to see white and black Rhinoceros and  Lake Nakuru for bird watching. Lake Nakuru National Park has a natural beauty, visit the Baboon cliff and enjoy the game drive. Other sightseeing includes Buffalos, Zebras, Leopard, Impalas, Antelopes, Gazelles, Giraffes… Exit Lake Nakuru National park and drive to Samburu via Subukia viewpoint, Thomson falls, and Equitoline. Arrive at Samburu Camel Gate Lodge late evening for check-in, relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 5: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.

Samburu National Reserve is really unique with an abundance of the rear species well known as the Samburu special five. They include reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Beise Oryx, Gerenuk, and Somali ostrich among other Big Mammals. After breakfast leave with packed picnic lunches for an exciting Samburu National Reserve safari experience. Transverse the national reserve with several up-close encounters with wild animals spicing your Kenya camping safari with awesome memories. Enjoy the picnic lunch near the Ewaso Nyiro River and enjoy the game drive till late evening. Exit Samburu National Reserve and drive to the Camel Gate Lodge for an optional activity, Dinner, and overnight.

DAY 6: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – NAIROBI.

Early morning enjoys final Kenya Camping Safari experience to witness the sunrise and track as many wild animals as possible. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast, check out and drive to Nairobi via Nanyuki, Karatina Market, and Thika. Arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening where you will be transferred to your hotel or Airport to catch your flight.
