08 Days Private Safari Kenya & Tanzania Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Isebania, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

Pick up from airport or Nairobi Hotel and be transferred to Office for Briefing and introduction to the Kenyan Guide who will be taking care of your Holiday for the first four days. Leave after Nairobi Using Nairobi Nakuru highway with a stopover at the  view point to view the escarpment wall which was left after the formation of the Great Rift Valley, See Mt. Longonot, Lake Naivasha and Elementaita on the main highway. Pick picnic Lunch at Nakuru Hotel then proceed for a game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for the sanctuary of the endangered Rhino species, Flamingos but their availability depends on the season and water level. Other Big Three are still available but here you cannot see Elephants. Dinner and overnight will be at Lodge or hotel in Nakuru.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Maasai mara

After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru region for Maasai mara with a stopover at Lake Naivasha for optional activity at extra cost. This will be as per the guide information and agreement otherwise you will proceed direct to Maasai mara. You will make the second stop at Narok Town for Lunch then proceed to the game reserve arriving before 1500hrs. Check in at the camp or Lodge followed by evening game drive till sunset. Return to the lodge or Camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: maasai mara full day.

Breakfast at the camp/lodge then with picnic lunch leave before 0800am for a full day game viewing inside this savannah grassland game reserve. Maasai mara is a popular game reserve that as a great number of animal species and variety of birds. You will have at least 9 hours game viewing to explore the beauty of this game reserve. Maasai mara is well known for its great annual migration and a game drive to the point where the crossing takes place is mandatory. You will leave the reserve by 1700hrs so that you have at least 2 hours to relax, visit maasai village or take a nature walk. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 4: Maasai mara – Isebania – Serengeti

By 0600am take a cup of tea or Coffee and leave for a morning game viewing. You will have the sunrise view and track the wildcats as they hunt their prey, if you will be lucky enough you will be able to see a Kill. By 0900am to 0930am return to the camp or lodge for full breakfast, Check out and leave Maasai mara region for Isebania border where you will say bye bye to Kenya Guide and meet the Tanzania Guide. After Visa processing proceed to Serengeti National park, have game drive enroute to the camp or lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti full day.

Serengeti is wider and highly known for its massive annual migration of the wildebeest and Zebras which move from their breeding ground on north side to South part crossing the grumeti River which as a lot of Crocodiles. You will have a full day to explore the beauty of this park, have picnic lunch and continue with the game drive till evening at around 0500pm. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge or the camp.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning breakfast then leave for the morning game drive, the game drive will not be long as you will have to travel to Ngorongoro Conservancy area. Leave the park with picnic Lunch and make a stopover at Olduvai Gorge for optional visit. Olduvai Gorge is the museum where the remains on mankind were found. You will learn more from the guide and if interested the guide will take you there. Arrive Ngorongoro late in the evening. Proceed to the lodge or camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

You will have Breakfast at the camp or your Lodge then leave with picnic lunch for a great and amazing game drive. Ngorongoro crater is one of the wonders of the world and you will have 6 hours to explore this crater. With packed Lunch descend the crater with game viewing. You will have great and awesome view of wildlife as you drive down. Ngorongoro crater as few of the remain black Rhinos, buffalos, Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeest among other animals. Picnic at the crater rim, later ascend to the main gate and drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped at Arusha Hotel booked bed and breakfast.

Day 8: Arusha – Nairobi – Arusha Airport

Breakfast at your Arusha Hotel then be transferred to shuttle bus to return back to Nairobi or Proceed to Dar Saalam by road. Alternatively you will be transferred to Arusha airport to catch your flight to other destinations.
