13 DAYS KENYA AND TANZANIA GROUP JOINING MAASAI MARA, LAKE NAKURU,LAKE NAIVASHA,AMBOSELI,ARUSHA ,LAKE MANYARA, SERENGETI, NGORONGORO AND TARANGIRE

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai mara

Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel or from airport and be transferred to our office for briefing and meeting the group for the day departure. The safari will start by 0830am to 0840hrs, from Nairobi to maasai mara we will cover a distance of 270kms but we will make two stops on the way. First stop will be at View point where we will see the escarpment wall and the second will be at Narok Town for Early lunch. Upon arrival at Maasai mara you will check in followed by evening game drive for at least 3 hours game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight will be served where you will be staying either the lodge or Camp.

Day 2: maasai mara full day.

As per the briefing from the guide you will have left the camp or lodge before 0800am for a full day game viewing inside this savannah grassland. Maasai mara is a popular game reserve that as a great number of animal species and variety of birds. You will have at least 9 hours game viewing to explore the beauty of this game reserve. Maasai mara is well known for its great annual migration and a game drive to the point where the crossing takes place is mandatory. You will leave the reserve by 1700hrs so that you have at least 2 hours to relax, visit maasai village or take a nature walk. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Maasai mara – Lake Nakuru

Early in the morning by 0600am take a cup of tea or Coffee and leave for a morning game viewing. You will have the sunrise view and track the wildcats as they hunt their prey, if you will be lucky enough you will be able to see a Kill. By 0900am to 0930am return to the camp or lodge for full breakfast, later check out and leave maasai mara region for Lake Nakuru. Upon arrival at Nakuru town you will check in at your Hotel or Lodge. Those staying at the lodge will have a game drive enroute to lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

Breakfast then leave for a 4 hours game drive at Lake Nakuru which is the place to see the endangered Rhinoceros. Lake Nakuru is also famous for the Flamingos but it all depends on the season and water level at the lake. The other big three can be spotted in this park except the Elephants. Later Leave lake Nakuru and drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival check in at your Lodge or Hotel followed by optional activity at the Lake or a visit to the local floral farms. Dinner will be served at your Hotel or Lodge followed by overnight.

Day 5: Hell’s Gate – Amboseli

After breakfast at the lodge or hotel leave for Hell’s gate, here you have options for the game drive, you can choose to do it with the safari vehicle or you hire a bicycle to cycle the 11kms down to the Gorge. Hell’s gate is the only park where one can walk with animals as there are no predators. Upon arrival at the gorge you will have a guided tour top see the rock layers and enjoy the great views of the rocks. Later ascend and cycle back or drive back to the main gate. Leave Naivasha and drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. From Nairobi you will use the busy Nairobi Mombasa Highway. Arrival  Amboseli before sunset and proceed to Lodge or Camp to check in followed by Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Amboseli full day.

Immediately after breakfast leave for a full day game viewing, the park is widely known for its large herds of Elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is located on the Tanzania Part. It also as a variety of wildlife which like grazing on the swampy areas of the park. You can be lucky to spot all the Big Five in this park with amazing views from all the directions. You will have picnic lunch at the base of the mountain, continue with the game drive till 0500pm, leave and proceed to the lodge or camp for optional activity. Dinner will be served followed by overnight.

Day 7: Amboseli – Namanga Border – Arusha

Early morning game drive from 0600am to around 0830am then return to the lodge for full breakfast, with the game drive leave Amboseli and proceed to Namanga border where you will say bye bye to your Kenya Guide. After visa processing the shuttle bus driver will be there to pick you and proceed to Arusha. Meet our driver and be transferred to Arusha Hotel where you will be spending your night. The Hotel will be booked bed and breakfast, you will take care of your Dinner.

Day 8: Arusha – Lake Manyara

Pick up from Arusha Hotel and be introduced to our guide, leave Arusha before 0900am and drive to lake Manyara. The drive will take at least 2hrs 30 minutes. Upon arrival with package lunch proceed for a game drive. Lake Manyara is widely know as the home of flamingos and the tree climbing Lions. You will find this lake to be unique as its supplied by water by underground springs and it wildlife is very easy to spot. After sunset leave the parka and proceed to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Lake Manyara – Serengeti.

Leave Lake Manyara region in the morning for a long drive to Serengeti National Park, you will take at least 5 hrs 30 minutes to get to Serengeti. Upon arrival have evening game drive till sunset. Serengeti is wider and highly known for its massive annual migration of the wildebeest and Zebras which move fron their breeding ground on north side to South part crossing the grumeti River which as a lot of Crocodiles. After sunset return to the camp or Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning breakfast then leave for the morning game drive, the game drive will not be long as you will have to travel to Ngorongoro Conservancy area. Leave the park with picnic Lunch and make a stopover at Olduvai Gorge for optional visit. Olduvai Gorge is the museum where the remains on mankind were found. You will learn more from the guide and if interested the guide will take you there. Arrive Ngorongoro late in the evening. Proceed to the lodge or camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire

You will have Breakfast at the camp or your Lodge then leave with picnic lunch for a great and amazing game drive. Ngorongoro crater is one of the wonders of the world and you will have 6 hours to explore this crater. With packed Lunch descend the crater with game viewing. You will have great and awesome view of wildlife as you drive down. Ngorongoro crater as few of the remaining black Rhinos, buffalos, Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeest among other animals. Picnic at the crater rim, later ascend to the main gate and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Day 12: Tarangire – Arusha

After breakfast at the lodge or Camp proceeds for a last game drive at this park, the park as a river that supply the park with enough water for wildlife. The game drive is done along the river and you will really enjoy seen great number of animals. Later after lunch leave the park and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at your Arusha Hotel.

Day 13: Arusha – Nairobi – Arusha Airport

Breakfast at your Arusha Hotel then be transferred to shuttle bus to return back to Nairobi or Proceed to Dar Salaam by road. Alternatively you will be transferred to Arusha airport to catch your flight to other destinations.
